1. Your health and safety
These classes are dance fitness — cardio movement and bodyweight exercise. You take part by choice, and you're responsible for your own health and wellbeing. Only join if you feel able to exercise. Please don't attend if you feel unwell or have symptoms of a contagious illness.
If you have an injury, illness, pregnancy, or any condition that may affect you, speak to a medical professional if needed and tell the instructor before class. Move at your own pace. Take breaks whenever you need to. Stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain, or shortness of breath.
Exercise involves risk. You may get sore, strain a muscle, sprain a joint, fall, feel dizzy, faint, or get another injury. In rare cases, serious complications can happen. By joining, you accept these risks.
If an emergency happens during class, you authorise the instructor or staff to call emergency services and seek medical help for you. You are responsible for any medical or related costs.
2. Release of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless the instructor, any assistants or volunteers, the business running the classes, and the venue or facility from claims, injury, loss, damage, or expense connected to your participation.
This includes claims caused by ordinary negligence. This does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct where the law does not allow a release.
3. Cancellations
If you need to cancel, do it at least 8 hours before class and you'll keep your credit. For a 6pm class, that means cancelling by 10am. If you cancel after the cutoff, the credit for that class is not returned.
Going on holiday? Let the instructor know beforehand and they may extend your package to cover the time you're away.
The instructor may update these rules from time to time. The current rules are always available on this page.
4. Photos and filming
The instructor may take photos or short videos during class for promotion (social media, the website). If you'd rather not appear, just tell the instructor before class starts. They'll do their best to keep you out of shots.
Please don't record or live-stream the full class. Short clips of you and your friends are fine — keep it brief (around 10–20 seconds) and point the camera at your group, not the whole room. Ask the instructor before you record. If someone doesn't want to be filmed, stop and delete the clip if needed. The instructor can ask you to stop recording at any time.
5. Behaviour, belongings, and minors
Please be respectful. No harassment, no unsafe behaviour. The instructor may refuse entry or ask someone to leave if needed for safety or the comfort of others. You bring personal items at your own risk — the instructor is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Participants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By registering a minor, the parent or guardian confirms they agree to this waiver on the minor's behalf.
6. Agreement
By registering for a class, buying a ticket, or attending a class, you confirm you have read and understood this waiver and you agree to its terms.
You sign this waiver electronically through Calendance before your first booking. Your electronic signature is legally valid under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (NSW).
This waiver stays in place for all classes you attend unless a newer version is published, at which point you'll be asked to sign the updated version before your next booking.
