About this class
The Wednesday class in Darlinghurst is our longest session - 70 minutes of full energy, passion and an infectious love of dance - salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata. As always, adapted for all fitness levels and ages.
The extra time means we go deeper — more songs on the playlist, new and old favourites, and enough time to stop thinking about the steps and start making the moves your own. It's the kind of workout that doesn't feel like one until you check the time and realise you've been dancing for an hour.
It's the class where regulars bring their friends and newcomers become regulars. You don't need to know anyone to walk in. You will by the time you walk out. And your first class is half price. Just show up, we'll take care of the rest.

Getting There
The venue is just behind Oxford Street on the corner of Burton St and Palmer St. A few minutes' walk from buses running along Oxford Street (routes 311, 333, 352, 373, 396, 440). If you're driving, street parking in Darlinghurst is possible but can be limited or time-restricted. Give yourself a little extra time to find a spot. Bicycles can be brought inside for security.
Arrival
Our Zumba gang usually arrives around 15 minutes before class. Look for a cheerful group outside the building, or upstairs if the doors are already open — if you hear happy chaos, you're probably in the right place.
Running late?
No stress. Come through the glass door and slip in, then join when you're ready.
What to Bring
- Comfortable, supportive shoes (avoid running shoes — they're designed for straight-line movement, not the side-to-side movement in dance)
- Clothes you can move in
- Water
- A small towel (optional, but you'll thank us later)
